New Year’s celebrations have already ended, so the typical thing to do on New Year’s is to pick a resolution and try to stick to it. However, most people who set a goal for themselves never reach it.

According to “Statistic Brain”, the top 5  resolutions are as follows:

  • Lose weight/healthier eating 21.4%
  • Life/self improvements 12.3%
  • Better financial decisions 8.5%
  • Quit smoking 7.1%
  • Do more exciting things 6.3%

“Statistic Brian” states that the percent of American’s who make New Year’s resolutions is 41% and the percent of Americans who never succeed at completing or reaching their resolution is 42.4%.
