Gary I.S.D. is so proud of the Lady Bobcats in their season and their road to regional volleyball tournament.  The Gary Lady Bobcats won District, Bi-District, Area, and the Reginal Quarter Finals in the UIL 2A contest for Region 3 District 22. Most of the playoff games were held in Longview, TX through the playoff season.

They have worked extremely hard and have been through blood, sweat and tears to get to the regional tournament. Each girl and coach has worked to learn, teach, and be one as a family to get to the road of success.  They had not only become a better team, but they also got to become a better family.

Head volleyball coach Tamika Hubbard was very proud of the coaches, team captains, Leann Youngblood and Taylor Rodgers, as well as the volleyball players for working extremely hard in this year’s volleyball season from beginning to end.

Coach Hubbard shared some of her favorite highlights of this year’s volleyball playoffs. She said, “Going into playoffs I felt like we were right where we needed to be. We were playing our best volleyball and improving ever game. I really enjoyed our team this year as there was a special bond between all the girls. Especially Leann and Taylor, they were a huge part in that. It was a fun run to watch all the way to the end!”
